Q (Qaaf)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Qaf: By the Glorious Qur'an (Thou art Allah's Messenger). 1 Nay, but they marvel that a warner of their own hath come unto them; and the disbelievers say: This is a strange thing: 2 Shall we be brought back when we are dead and have become dust? That is a return remote! 3 Surely We know that which the earth consumeth of them, and with Us is a Book preserved. 4 But they denied the truth when it came to them, so they are in a confused condition. 5 Did they never observe the sky above them: how We built it and beautified it; and it has no cracks; 6 and We have spread out the earth, and have set upon it firm mountains, and have caused it to bring out plants of all beauteous kinds? 7 thus offering an insight and a reminder unto every human being who willingly turns unto God. 8 And We send down from the cloud water abounding in good, then We cause to grow thereby gardens and the grain that is reaped, 9 And lofty palm trees having fruit arranged in layers - 10 Provision (made) for men; and therewith We quicken a dead land. Even so will be the resurrection of the dead. 11 Denied before them (i.e. these pagans of Makkah who denied you, O Muhammad SAW) the people of Nuh (Noah), and the dwellers of Rass, and the Thamud, 12 Ad, the Pharaoh, Lot, 13 and the dwellers of the Wood, and the people of Tubba': every one denied their messengers, and so My warning came true. 14 So did We tire by creating the first time? Rather they doubt being created again. 15
