He created man and surely know what misdoubts arise in their hearts; for We are closer to him than his jugular vein. 16 Behold, two (guardian angels) appointed to learn (his doings) learn (and noted them), one sitting on the right and one on the left. 17 each word he utters shall be noted down by a vigilant guardian. 18 And the stupor of death will come in truth; that is what you were trying to escape. 19 And the trumpet is blown. This is the threatened Day. 20 And there shall come every soul therewith shall be a driver and a witness. 21 (And unto the evil-doer it is said): Thou wast in heedlessness of this. Now We have removed from thee thy covering, and piercing is thy sight this day. 22 And his companion will say: this is that which with me is ready. 23 It will be said to the angels, “Both of you fling every excessive ungrateful, stubborn person into hell.” 24 Hinderer of good, trespasser, doubter 25 "Who set up another god beside Allah: Throw him into a severe penalty." 26 ۞ His [devil] companion will say, "Our Lord, I did not make him transgress, but he [himself] was in extreme error." 27 He will say, “Do not dispute before Me – I had already warned you of the punishment.” 28 My Word is not changed; and never do I inflict the least wrong upon My servants.” 29
