Indeed, We created the human. We know the whisperings of his soul, and are closer to him than the jugular vein. 16 Since the two scribes are sitting on each of his shoulders, he does not utter a word which is not recorded immediately by the watchful scribes. 17 The human being will certainly experience the agony of death 18 Lo, the agony of death has indeed come with the Truth. That is what you had sought to avoid. 19 And the trumpet is blown. This is the threatened Day. 20 Each person will arrive attended by an [angel] to drive him on and another to bear witness. 21 (He will be told), "You were completely heedless of this day. We have removed the veil from your eyes and your vision will now be sharp and strong". 22 And his companions shall say: This is what is ready with me. 23 It will be said to the angels, “Both of you fling every excessive ungrateful, stubborn person into hell.” 24 "Hinderer of good, transgressor, doubter, 25 and has set up another deity with Allah. Hurl him into the grievous torment.” 26 ۞ His [devil] companion will say, "Our Lord, I did not make him transgress, but he [himself] was in extreme error." 27 (It was said): “Do not remonstrate in My presence. I had warned you. 28 There is no changing of My word, nor am I unjust to My creatures." 29
