▼ 51 Drivers of the Winds
Al-Dhaareyaat 3 of 3
We built the universe with Our might, giving it its vast expanse. 47 We have spread out the earth and how brilliantly it is spread! 48 And of everything created We two kinds; haply you will remember. 49 Flee therefore unto Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 50 And set not up another god with Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 51 Likewise, there came no messenger to those before them, but they said, "He is a sorcerer or a madman." 52 Have they, perchance, handed down this [way of thinking] as a legacy unto one another? Nay, they are people filled with overweening arrogance! 53 So turn your attention away from them; you shall incur no blame. 54 Keep on reminding them. This benefits the believers. 55 And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me. 56 I want no sustenance from them nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 Surely God is the All-provider, the Possessor of Strength, the Ever-Sure. 58 And indeed, for those who have wronged is a portion [of punishment] like the portion of their predecessors, so let them not impatiently urge Me. 59 So ruin is for disbelievers, from their day – which they are promised. 60
God the Almighty always says the truth.
