We built the heavens by Our authority; and We are the Lord of power and expanse. 47 And We have spread out the (spacious) earth: How excellently We do spread out! 48 And all things We have created by pairs, that haply ye may reflect. 49 So turn to God. I give you a clear warning from Him. 50 And set not up with God another god; I am a clear warner from Him to you. 51 Likewise, there came not an apostle unto those before them but they said: a magician or a madman! 52 Have they handed this down to one another? They are certainly a people who exceed all bounds, 53 Turn away from them. You will not be blamed. 54 Do, however, keep exhorting them; for exhortation benefits those endowed with faith. 55 We have created jinn and human beings only that they might worship Me. 56 I do not desire from them any sustenance and I do not desire that they should feed Me. 57 Surely, Allah is the Provider, the Possessor of Power, the Mighty. 58 Those who do wrong will indeed come to the same end as their fellows (of old). So let them not ask Me to hasten (the punishment). 59 For, woe unto those who are bent on denying the truth - [woe] on the Day which they have been promised 60
God the Almighty always says the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
