The Mountain (Al-Toor)
49 verses, revealed in Mecca after Prostration (Al-Sajdah) before Kingship (Al-Mulk)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the Mount, 1 And the Scripture inscribed 2 In parchment unrolled. 3 The house ever-peopled, 4 and the roof uplifted 5 and the sea that is full 6 Verily, the Doom of thy Lord will indeed come to pass;- 7 none can avert that. 8 On the Day when the firmament will be in dreadful commotion. 9 and the mountains quickly move. 10 So woe on that day to those who reject (the truth), 11 Those who in wading sport themselves. 12 On the Day whereon they will be pushed into Hell-Fire with a dreadful push. 13 "This is the Fire which you used to deny. 14 Is this magic? or ye still see not clearly! 15 Roast therein; endure it or endure it not, thereof it is equal unto you. Ye are only being requited for that which ye have been working. 16 [But,] verily, the God-conscious will find themselves [on that Day] in gardens and in bliss, 17 enjoying what Allah will have endowed them with; and their Lord will have saved them from the torment of the Blazing Fire. 18 (It will be said): 'Eat and drink with a good appetite because of that which you did' 19 reclining on couches [of happiness] ranged in rows!" And [in that paradise] We shall mate them with companions pure, most beautiful of eye. 20 And as for those who have attained to faith and whose offspring will have followed them in faith, We shall unite them with their offspring; and We shall not let aught of their deeds go to waste: [but] every human being will be held in pledge for whatever he has earned. 21 And We will aid them with fruit and flesh such as they desire. 22 They shall there exchange, one with another, a (loving) cup free of frivolity, free of all taint of ill. 23 ۞ There will circulate among them [servant] boys [especially] for them, as if they were pearls well-protected. 24 They will advance to each other, engaging in mutual enquiry. 25 'When we were among our people' they will say, 'we were ever fearful, 26 "But Allah has been good to us, and has delivered us from the Penalty of the Scorching Wind. 27 Surely we called upon Him before: Surely He is the Benign, the Merciful. 28

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
