۞ Numerous are the angels in the heavens; yet their intercession shall be of no avail, except in regard to those whom He grants the leave of intercession and whose plea He is pleased to accept. 26 Behold, it is [only] such as do not [really] believe in the life to come that regard the angels as female beings; 27 They have not any knowledge thereof; they follow only surmise, and surmise avails naught against truth. 28 So leave alone those who turn away from the remembrance of Us and who seek nothing but the life of the world – 29 This is the extent of their knowledge; indeed your Lord well knows one who has strayed from His path, and He well knows one who has attained guidance. 30 Indeed, unto God belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth: and so He will reward those who do evil in accordance with what they did, and will reward those who do good with ultimate good. 31 Those who avoid great sins and shameful deeds, only (falling into) small faults,- verily thy Lord is ample in forgiveness. He knows you well when He brings you out of the earth, And when ye are hidden in your mothers' wombs. Therefore justify not yourselves: He knows best who it is that guards against evil. 32
