Did you (O Muhammad SAW) observe him who turned away (from Islam). 33 Gives a little, then hardens (his heart)? 34 Does he have any knowledge of the world beyond the ken of sense-perception, and therefore, clearly sees (the Truth)? 35 Nay, is he not acquainted with what is in the Books of Moses- 36 And Abraham who paid his debt: 37 That no soul laden bears the load of another, 38 And that man can have nothing but what he does (good or bad). 39 and that (the result of) his striving shall soon be seen, 40 and that he shall then be fully recompensed, 41 And that to your Lord is your returning; 42 That it is He who makes you happy and morose, 43 And that it is He Who causeth to die and causeth to live. 44 And that He createth the pair, the male and the female. 45 of a sperm-drop, when it was cast forth, 46 and that it is for Him to grant the second life, 47 That it is He who makes you rich and contented; 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius; 49 that it was He that destroyed ancient Aad 50 and Thamud tribes, 51 And also the people of Nuh aforetime. Verily they were even greater wrong-doers and more contumacious. 52 And He destroyed the Overthrown Cities (of Sodom and Gomorrah). 53 Then covered them with that which covered them. 54 So O listener! Which favour of your Lord will you doubt? 55 This is a Warner, of the (series of) Warners of old! 56 The (Judgment) ever approaching draws nigh: 57 There shall be none besides Allah to remove it. 58 Do you then wonder at this recital (the Quran)? 59 Will you laugh at it rather than weep? 60 Will you occupy yourselves simply in merriment? 61 But fall ye down in prostration to Allah, and adore (Him)! ۩ 62
Almighty God's Truth.
End of Surah: The Stars (Al-Najm). Sent down in Mecca after Absoluteness (Al-Ikhlaas) before He Frowned ('Abasa)

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
