Have you seen him who turns his back, 33 who gave a little, and then stopped? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the Unseen, and therefore he sees? 35 Or has he not been informed of what was in the scriptures of Moses 36 and about Abraham who fulfilled his duty (to God)? 37 That no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another 38 And that man shall have nothing but what he strives for- 39 And that his striving shall soon be seen- 40 Then he will be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense 41 And that the end is only towards your Lord? 42 that it is He who brings laughter and tears; 43 that it is He who causes death and gives life; 44 And that He creates the two mates - the male and female - 45 from an ejaculated drop (of sperm), 46 And that [incumbent] upon Him is the next creation 47 and that it is He who gives wealth and riches, 48 And that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius 49 And that it is He Who earlier destroyed the tribe of Aad? 50 And destroyed the tribe of Thamud, not sparing anyone? 51 Like the people of Noah before them, who were surely oppressors and rebellious; 52 and He overthrew the subverted cities [of Sodom and Gomorrah] 53 and then covered them from sight forever. 54 So, which of your Lord's bounties will you doubt?” 55 This is a Warner, of the (series of) Warners of old! 56 The imminent Hour has drawn near, 57 None besides Allah can avert it, (or advance it, or delay it). 58 Do you then wonder at this recital (the Quran)? 59 And will you laugh and not weep? 60 Wasting your time in vanities? 61 Therefore prostrate for Allah, and worship Him.
