Al-Najm 3 of 3
Did you (O Muhammad SAW) observe him who turned away (from Islam). 33 and grudgingly spends very little for the cause of God? 34 What! Has he knowledge of the Unseen so that he can see? 35 Or has he not been informed of what was in the scriptures of Moses 36 And [of] Abraham, who fulfilled [his obligations] - 37 That no burdened person (with sins) shall bear the burden (sins) of another. 38 And that man shall have nothing but what he strives for- 39 And that his endeavour shall be presently observed. 40 then, he shall be recompensed for it in full repayment 41 and that the final end is with your Lord, 42 and that He it is Who causes people to laugh and to cry, 43 And He who ordains death and life; 44 And that He (Allah) creates the pairs, male and female, 45 out of a [mere] drop of sperm as it is poured forth, 46 And that [incumbent] upon Him is the next creation 47 and that it is He who gives riches and causes to hoard, 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius (the Mighty Star); 49 And that He did destroy the Ad of old 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace [of them,] 51 and the people of Noah before -- certainly they did exceeding evil, and were insolent 52 He plunged the villages 53 So that they were covered over by what they were covered over. 54 Then which of the gifts of thy Lord, (O man,) wilt thou dispute about? 55 This (Muhammad SAW) is a warner (Messenger) of the (series of) warners (Messengers) of old. 56 The Imminent is near at hand; 57 [although] none but God can unveil it.... 58 Will you, then, wonder at this? 59 Why do you laugh rather than weep? 60 while you are thoughtless? 61 Prostrate yourselves before God, and worship Him alone! ۩ 62

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
