Warnings also came to the Pharaonites, 41 but they rejected all Our miracles. So We seized them in the way that a Majestic and All-powerful One would. 42 What, are your unbelievers better than those? Or have you an immunity in the Scrolls? 43 Or do they say, "We are a united group, and we are bound to prevail?" 44 Soon will their multitude be put to flight, and they will show their backs. 45 Nay, the hour is their promised time, and the hour shall be most grievous and bitter. 46 Truly those in sin are the ones straying in mind, and mad. 47 On the Day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire, (it will be said to them): 'Taste the touch of the Scorching' 48 We have created everything in a determined measure. 49 It takes only a single command from Us (to bring the Day of Judgment) and that can be achieved within the twinkling of an eye. 50 We destroyed many people like you (disbelievers) but is there anyone who would take heed (of Our warning)? 51 All things they do are (recorded) in the books; 52 And every small and great thing is recorded. 53 Surely those who fear God and follow the straight path will be amidst gardens and light, 54 where they will be honourably seated in the presence of a King, Mighty in Power. 55
