Surely warners came to the people of Pharaoh. 41 They rejected each one of Our signs. So We seized them with the grip of one mighty and powerful. 42 ARE, THEN, those of you who [now] deny the truth better than those others - or have you, perchance, [been promised] immunity in the [ancient] books of [divine] wisdom? 43 Or do they say: "We are a well-accoutred army?" 44 Certainly the host shall be routed, and turn their backs. 45 In fact their promise is upon the Last Day and the Last Day is very severe and very bitter! 46 The sinful ones will face the destructive torment of hell 47 On the Day whereon they shall be dragged into the Fire upon their faces, it shall be said unto them: taste the touch of the Scorching. 48 Indeed, We have created all things according to a measure. 49 And Our command is but one, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And We have indeed destroyed your kind, so is there one who would ponder? 51 [They were truly guilty] because all [the evil] that they ever did had been [revealed to them as such] in the [ancient] books of [divine] wisdom; 52 And every small and great [thing] is inscribed. 53 Surely those who shun disobedience will dwell amidst Gardens and running streams 54 where they will be honourably seated in the presence of a King, Mighty in Power. 55
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
