▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
And for him who fears to stand before his Lord are two gardens. 46 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 47 (Gardens) with many branches. 48 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 49 In them (each) will be two Springs flowing (free); 50 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 51 In them will be Fruits of every kind, two and two. 52 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 53 [In such a paradise the blest will dwell,] reclining upon carpets lined with rich brocade; and the fruit of both these gardens will be within easy reach. 54 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 55 In them will be (Maidens), chaste, restraining their glances, whom no man or Jinn before them has touched;- 56 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 57 Lovely as rubies and pearls. 58 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 59 Is the reward of goodness aught but goodness? 60 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 61 And besides these two are two (other) gardens: 62 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 63 Both [gardens] of the darkest green. 64 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 65 In these there will also be two springs gushing forth. 66 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 67 In both of them are fruit and palm trees and pomegranates. 68 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 69 In them shall be good and pleasing. 70 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 71 Fair ones reserved in pavilions - 72 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 73 There hath deflowered them neither man nor jinn. 74 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 75 Reclining on green cushions and rich beautiful mattresses. 76 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 77 Blessed be the Name of your Lord (Allah), the Owner of Majesty and Honour. 78

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
