Once we are dead and are reduced to dust and bones, shall we still be raised to a new life from the dead? 47 Or our fathers of yore? 48 Say: "Verily, those of olden times and those of later times 49 will be brought together for an appointment on an appointed day. 50 and then, verily, O you who have gone astray and called the truth a lie, 51 "Ye will surely taste of the Tree of Zaqqum. 52 Then will fill your bellies with it. 53 "And drink Boiling Water on top of it: 54 And will drink as the drinking of thirsty camels. 55 This is their entertainment on the day of requital. 56 It is He who created you, then why do you not affirm the truth? 57 Have you ever considered that [seed] which you emit? 58 Do you make a human out of it, or is it We Who create? 59 It is We Who ordained death upon you and We are not to be frustrated. 60 that We will change you and cause you to grow again in a way you do not know. 61 And verily ye know the first creation. Why, then, do ye not reflect? 62 Have you considered the seeds you till? 63 Do you yourselves sow it, or are We the Sowers? 64 Were it Our Will, We could crumble it to dry pieces, and you would be regretful (or left in wonderment). 65 [Saying], "Indeed, we are [now] in debt; 66 "Indeed are we shut out (of the fruits of our labour)" 67 Have you ever considered the water which you drink? 68 Is it you that send it down from the clouds or We? 69 If We willed, We could make it bitter, so why are you not grateful? 70 Did you consider the fire which you kindle? 71 Is it you that originated its tree, or are We the Originator? 72 We have made it a reminder and an advantage for the wayfarers of the desert. 73 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 74
