▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Nay, I swear by the setting of the stars -- 75 And lo! that verily is a tremendous oath, if ye but knew - 76 That this is indeed the glorious Qur'an 77 preserved in a hidden Book which 78 Which none shall touch but those who are clean: 79 (This Quran) is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 Do you, then, take this discourse in light esteem, 81 And you make its denial your share? 82 Why, then, when (the soul) cometh up to the throat (of the dying) 83 And ye the while (sit) looking on,- 84 And Our angels are nearer to him than you, but you do not see - 85 why, then, if [you think that] you are not truly dependent [on Us,] 86 That you bring it back, if you are truthful? 87 And if the deceased was of those brought near to Allah, 88 (There is for him) Rest and Satisfaction, and a Garden of Delights. 89 And if he (the dying person) be of those on the Right Hand, 90 Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right." 91 But if he is of the deniers and the errants, 92 Then an entertainment of boiling water. 93 He will burn in Hell. 94 Verily this! this is the very truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Great One. 96
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
