۞ Nay, I swear by the places of the stars - 75 And verily that is a mighty oath, if ye but knew! 76 that this is indeed a noble Quran, 77 preserved in a hidden Book which 78 None may touch it, except with ablution. 79 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Then why do you dissimulate this Revelation? 81 And to give (it) the lie you make your means of subsistence. 82 So why was it not, when the soul reaches up to the throat, 83 And ye the while (sit) looking on,- 84 And We are nigher unto him than ye are, but ye behold not 85 why, then, if [you think that] you are not truly dependent [on Us,] 86 why are you then not able to bring them back to life if you are truthful? 87 And if the deceased was of those brought near to Allah, 88 then for him there shall be comfort and plenty and a Garden of Bliss; 89 And if he (the dying person) be of those on the Right Hand, 90 Then peace to you from those on the right hand. 91 But, if he is of those who belied, and went astray, 92 For him is Entertainment with Boiling Water. 93 and the heat of a blazing fire! 94 Indeed, this is the true certainty, 95 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah). Sent down in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
