For those who fear God there are pleasure gardens with their Lord. 34 Shall We treat the Muslims like criminals? 35 What is the matter with you? How could you judge this to be so? 36 Or have you a Book wherein you study? 37 that (in the Hereafter) you shall have all that you choose for yourselves? 38 Do you have a covenant with Us which allows you to do whatever you want until the Day of Judgment? 39 Ask them: "Which of you is able to vouch for this?" 40 Or have they some "Partners" (in Allahhead)? Then let them produce their "partners", if they are truthful! 41 (Remember) the Day when the Shin shall be laid bare (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) and they shall be called to prostrate (to Allah), but they (hypocrites) shall not be able to do so, 42 Their looks cast down, abasement shall overtake them; and they were called upon to make obeisance indeed while yet they were safe. 43 Hence, leave Me alone with such as give the lie to this tiding. We shall bring them low, step by step, without their perceiving how it has come about: 44 I shall give them respite, however, My plan is so strong that they will never be able to escape from it. 45 Or is it that [they fear lest] thou ask them for a reward, [O Prophet,] so that they would be burdened with debt [if they listened to thee]? 46 Or is the Unseen in their keeping, and so they are writing it down? 47 So wait with patience for the judgement of your Lord, and do not be like (Jonah) of the fish who called (to his Lord) when he was choked with anger. 48 Had there not overtaken him a blessing from his Lord he would have been cast upon the wilderness, being condemned. 49 But his Lord had chosen him and He placed him among the righteous. 50 Hence, [be patient,] even though they who are bent on denying the truth would all but kill thee with their eyes whenever they hear this reminder, and [though] they say: "[As for Muhammad,] behold, most surely he is a madman!" 51 While it is naught but an admonition unto the worlds. 52
