Al-Qalam 2 of 2
Surely, the cautious shall have Gardens of Bliss with their Lord. 34 Should We treat the true believers and the wrongdoers alike? 35 What is amiss with you? On what do you base your judgment [of right and wrong]? 36 Have you a Scripture that tells you 37 that you will be granted whatever you choose? 38 Or have ye a covenant on oath from Us that reacheth to the Day of Judgment, that yours shall be all that ye ordain? 39 Ask them (O Muhammad) which of them will vouch for that! 40 Or have they some "Partners" (in Allahhead)? Then let them produce their "partners", if they are truthful! 41 Remember the Day whereon the shank shall be bared and they shall be called upon to Prostrate themselves, but they shall not be able. 42 Their eyes will be humbled, and humiliation shall spread over them for they were already ordered to prostrate themselves when they were undiminished. 43 Therefore leave the one who denies this matter, to Me; We shall soon steadily take them away, from a place they do not know. 44 And I will grant them a respite. Verily, My Plan is strong. 45 (Muhammad), do you ask for your preaching any recompense which is too heavy a price for them to pay? 46 Is with them the unseen, so that they write down? 47 So wait with patience for the Command of thy Lord, and be not like the Companion of the Fish,- when he cried out in agony. 48 Had not Grace from his Lord reached him, he would indeed have been cast off on the naked shore, in disgrace. 49 Then his Lord chose him, and He made him of the good. 50 When the unbelievers hear this Exhortation, they look at you as though they would knock you off your feet with their (hostile) glances. They say: “Surely he is afflicted with madness”; 51 Whilst it is no more than reminder for the people of the world. 52

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
