Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2

I do not need to swear by what you see 38 And all that ye see not 39 it is the speech of a noble Messenger. 40 It is not poet's speech - little is it that ye believe! 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer. Little is it that you reflect! 42 A sending down from the Lord of all Being. 43 Had he invented against Us any sayings, 44 We would indeed have seized him by his right hand 45 and then severed his life vein; 46 Nor could any of you withhold him (from Our wrath). 47 And verily, this [Qur'an] is a reminder to all the God-conscious! 48 And verily, We know that there are some among you that belie (this Quran). [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 29, Page 68] 49 And verily it shall be an occasion of anguish unto the infidels. 50 for, verily, it is truth absolute! 51 Extol, then the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 52

True are the words of God the Almighty.
