But nay! I swear by that which you see, 38 And by whatsoever you see not, 39 Most surely, it is the Word brought by an honored Apostle, 40 It is not the word of a poet, little is that you believe! 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer. Little is it that you reflect! 42 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We assuredly had taken him by the right hand 45 and would indeed have cut his life-vein, 46 Then none among you would be his saviour. 47 And indeed this Qur’an is an advice for the pious. 48 And most surely We know that some of you are rejecters. 49 and surely it will be a cause of regret for the unbelievers. 50 And Verily, it (this Quran) is an absolute truth with certainty. 51 So glorify the name of thy Tremendous Lord. 52
