What aileth those who disbelieve, that they keep staring toward thee (O Muhammad), open-eyed, 36 left and right, in numerous groups? 37 Does every man of them hope to enter the Paradise of delight? 38 Not so; for We have created them of what they know. 39 So I swear by the Lord of [all] risings and settings that indeed We are able 40 To bring better people than they in their place; and they will not be able to thwart Us. 41 So leave them to their vain disputes and amusement till they meet their day (of reckoning) promised them, 42 the Day when they shall come out of their graves in haste, as if they were racing to a goal, 43 Their eyes lowered in dejection, ignominy covering them (all over)! such is the Day the which they are promised! 44
