Jinns (Al-Jinn)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “I have received the divine revelation that some jinns attentively listened to my recitation, so they said, ‘We have heard a unique Qur’an.’ 1 guiding to rectitude. We believe in it, and we will not associate with our Lord anyone. 2 and exalted is the majesty of our Lord, He has taken neither a wife nor a son. 3 ‘And that the fool among us used to utter false exaggerations against Allah.’ 4 And we had thought that mankind and the jinn would never speak about Allah a lie. 5 But some men used to seek refuge with some jinns, and this increased their waywardness; 6 ‘And that they assumed, like you humans assume, that Allah would not send any Noble Messenger.’ 7 'And we have sought to reach the heaven; but found it filled with stern guards and flaming fires. 8 we used to take up a position to listen, but whoever listens now finds a flaming fire lying in wait for him -- 9 And we know not whether harm is boded unto all who are in the earth, or whether their Lord intendeth guidance for them. 10 Some of us are righteous, but some are otherwise, we are sects that differ. 11 We know that we cannot frustrate Allah in the earth, nor can we frustrate Him by flight. 12 So when we heard the guidance we believed in it; and he who believes in his Lord will neither fear loss nor force. 13 And there are among us some who have surrendered (to Allah) and there are among us some who are unjust. And whoso hath surrendered to Allah, such have taken the right path purposefully. 14 but those who deviated from the Truth, will be the fuel for Hell.” 15 Would they but go straight on the way, We would give them to drink of water copious, 16 "That We might try them by that (means). But if any turns away from the remembrance of his Lord, He will cause him to undergo a severe Penalty. 17 All the parts of the body to be placed on the ground during prostration belong to God. 18 ‘And that when Allah’s bondman stood up to worship Him, the jinns had almost crowded upon him.’” 19
