Never will you attain the good [reward] until you spend [in the way of Allah] from that which you love. And whatever you spend - indeed, Allah is Knowing of it. 92 ۞ All food was lawful for the children of Israel except for what Israel had deemed unlawful for himself before the Torah was revealed. (Muhammad), ask them to bring the Torah and read it, if they are true in their claim (that all food was not unlawful for the children of Israel). 93 So henceforth whoever fabricates lies against Allah – it is they who are the unjust. 94 Say: "Allah speaketh the Truth: follow the religion of Abraham, the sane in faith; he was not of the Pagans." 95 Verily the first House set apart unto mankind was that at Bakka, blest, and a guidance unto the worlds. 96 full of clear messages. [It is] the place whereon Abraham once stood; and whoever enters it finds inner peace. Hence, pilgrimage unto the Temple is a duty owed to God by all people who are able to undertake it. And as for those who deny the truth - verily, God does not stand in need of anything in all the worlds. 97 Say: O followers of the Book! why do you disbelieve in the communications of Allah? And Allah is a witness of what you do. 98 Say: 'People of the Book, why do you bar from God's way the believer, desiring to make it crooked, yourselves being witnesses? God is not heedless of the things you do.' 99 O believers, if you follow what some of the people of the Book say, it will turn you into unbelievers even after you have come to belief. 100 And how could you deny the truth when it is unto you that God's messages are being conveyed, and it is in your midst that His Apostle lives? But he who holds fast unto God has already been guided onto a straight way. 101
