The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir)
56 verses, revealed in Mecca after Unknown Person (Al-Muzzammil) before The Key (Al-Faatehah)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
O you who covers himself [with a garment], 1 Arise, and warn. 2 and magnify the glory of your Lord, 3 purify your garments; 4 And uncleanliness avoid 5 And give not a thing in order to have more (or consider not your deeds of Allah's obedience as a favour to Allah). 6 But, for thy Lord's (Cause), be patient and constant! 7 When the Horn is blown, 8 that very Day shall be a day of anguish, 9 and it will not be easy for the unbelievers. 10 Leave Me and him whom I created alone, 11 and whom I have granted abundant wealth 12 and sons to be by his side, 13 And I adjusted affairs for him adjustably; 14 Then he desires that I should add more. 15 Nay! For lo! he hath been stubborn to Our revelations. 16 and I shall constrain him to a hard ascent. 17 For he thought and he plotted;- 18 and thus he destroys himself, the way he meditates: 19 And once more let him be cursed, how he plotted! 20 Then he thought; 21 Then he frowned and scowled; 22 Then he turned back and was big with pride, 23 And said: This is naught else than magic from of old; 24 "This is nothing but the word of a mortal!" 25 I will cast him into Hell-fire 26 - Ah, what will convey unto thee what that burning is! - 27 It does not allow to live, and neither leaves [to die,] 28 It shrivelleth the man. 29 Over it are nineteen (guards). 30 We have appointed only angels to be masters of the Fire, and their number We have appointed only as a trial for the unbelievers, that those who were given the Book may have certainty, and that those who believe may increase in belief, and that those who were given the Book and those who believe may not be in-doubt, and that those in whose hearts there is sickness, and the unbelievers, may say, 'What did God intend by this as a similitude?' So God leads astray whomsoever He will, and He guides whomsoever He will; and none knows the hosts of thy Lord but He. And it is naught but a Reminder to mortals. 31

ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
