Nay, by the moon, 32 By the night when it departs. 33 And by the dawn when it brightens, 34 it is one of the greatest trials, 35 A warning for people -- 36 To whoever wills among you to proceed or stay behind. 37 Every soul is pledged to what it does, 38 Except the companions of the right, 39 In gardens they will ask one another 40 about the sinners. 41 “What drove you to Hell?” 42 They shall say, 'We were not of those who prayed, and 43 Nor did we used to feed the poor. 44 We indulged and persisted in useless disputes, 45 "And we used to belie the Day of Recompense 46 until the inevitable event overtook us.” 47 Then the intercession of the intercessors shall not profit them. 48 What is the matter with them that they turn away from this Reminder, 49 as though they were frightened wild asses, 50 fleeing -- before a lion? 51 Rather, every person among them desires that he would be given scriptures spread about. 52 No indeed; the truth is that they have no fear of the Hereafter. 53 No! Indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder 54 So whosoever willeth may heed it. 55 And they will not heed unless Allah willeth (it). He is the fount of fear. He is the fount of Mercy. 56
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
