No, by the moon! 32 and the night when it retreats 33 By the dawn when it lightens! 34 That (Hell) is surely one of the greater (signs), 35 a warning to humans, 36 whether one steps forward to embrace the faith or one turns away from it. 37 Every person is a pledge for what he has earned, 38 Save those who will stand on the right hand. 39 who shall be in the Gardens, and shall ask 40 About the guilty: 41 What led you into the Scorching Fire? 42 They will answer: "We were not among those who prayed; 43 "Nor we used to feed Al-Miskin (the poor); 44 and we indulged in vain talk with those who indulged in vain talk, 45 And we used to call the day of judgment a lie; 46 until the inevitable event overtook us.” 47 The intercession of their intercessors shall not benefit them. 48 Why then do they turn away from the admonition 49 As if they were startled donkeys – 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Nay; every one of them desires that he may be given pages spread out; 52 Nay! But they fear not the Hereafter (from Allah's punishment). 53 Nay! it is surely an admonition. 54 So whoever pleases may mind it. 55 But none will keep it in remembrance except as Allah wills: He is the Lord of Righteousness, and the Lord of Forgiveness. 56
