▼ 74 The Hidden Secret
Al-Muddath-thir 2 of 2
By no means! By the moon, 32 And [by] the night when it departs 33 By the dawn when it lightens! 34 hell is certainly the greatest calamity. 35 As a warning to humanity - 36 Unto him of you who will advance or hang back. 37 Every soul is pledged to what it does, 38 Except those on the right side. 39 In gardens they will ask one another 40 about the guilty ones: 41 'What caused you to be thrust into the Scorching (Fire)' 42 They shall say, 'We were not of those who prayed, and 43 “Nor used to feed the needy.” 44 “And used to dwell on evil matters with those who think evilly.” 45 and rejected the Day of Judgment 46 "Until there came to us (the death) that is certain." 47 Then the intercession of the intercessors shall not profit them. 48 Why then do they turn away from the admonition 49 As if they were alarmed donkeys 50 running away from a lion? 51 Is it that everyone of them wants to receive a heavenly book addressed to him personally? 52 By no means! Aye, they fear not the Hereafter. 53 Nay; this is an Exhortation. 54 Let him who will take heed: 55 No one will seek guidance unless God wills it. He alone is worthy of being feared and He is the Source of Forgiveness. 56
True are the words of God the Almighty.
