Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
40 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah) before The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ I CALL TO WITNESS the Day of Resurrection, 1 Nay, I swear by the accusing soul (that this Scripture is true). 2 Does man think that We will not assemble his bones? 3 Yes indeed; We are able to shape again his fingers. 4 But man desires to persist in his evil ways. 5 He questions: "When is the Day of Resurrection?" 6 So, when the sight shall be dazed, 7 And the moon shall be ecliped. 8 And the sun and the moon will be united. 9 On that day man will cry: Whither to flee! 10 By no means! there shall be no place of refuge! 11 With thy Sustainer, on that Day, the journey's end will be! 12 On that day, man will be informed of all what he sent ahead and left behind. 13 In fact, man himself is keeping an eye on his state of affairs! 14 even though he offers his excuses. 15 (Muhammad), do not move your tongue too quickly to recite the Quran. 16 Indeed assembling the Qur’an and reading it are upon Us. 17 Wherefore when We recite it, follow thou the reciting thereof. 18 Then it is for Us (Allah) to make it clear to you, 19 None except you, O disbelievers – you love what you have, the fleeting one. 20 and are oblivious of the Hereafter. 21 That day will faces be resplendent, 22 and look forward to receiving mercy from their Lord. 23 and some faces will on that Day be overcast with despair, 24 Knowing that there will be made to befall them some great calamity. 25 Yea, when (the soul) reaches to the collar-bone (in its exit), 26 And they will say, “Is there any one – any magician?” 27 and he realises that the hour of parting is come, 28 and leg is intertwined with leg, 29 The drive will be, on that Day, to your Lord (Allah)! 30

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
