Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
40 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah) before The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ I swear by the Day of Resurrection 1 And I swear by the self-reproaching person (a believer). 2 Does man think that We will not assemble his bones? 3 Surely yes, why not? We can properly make all his phalanxes. 4 But man would fain deny what is before him. 5 He asks, "When will be the Day of Judgment?" 6 but when the sight is dazed 7 the moon eclipsed. 8 and the sun and the moon are brought together, 9 On that day man will cry out, “Where shall I flee?” 10 Certainly not! There will be no place of refuge. 11 For on that Day the refuge shall be to your Lord. 12 To man will be declared on that Day that which he hath sent on and left behind. 13 Oh, but man is a telling witness against himself, 14 even though they make excuses. 15 MOVE NOT thy tongue in haste, [repeating the words of the revelation:] 16 Indeed assembling the Qur’an and reading it are upon Us. 17 When We recite it, follow its recitation (by Us). 18 It's explanation is upon Us. 19 Human beings certainly do not want to pay much attention to the Quran. In fact, they love the worldly life 20 and are heedless of the Everlasting Life. 21 Some faces will on that Day be bright with happiness, 22 gazing upon their Lord; 23 And that day will other faces be despondent, 24 knowing that a crushing calamity is about to befall them. 25 Yea, when (the soul) reaches to the collar-bone (in its exit), 26 And it is said, "Who will cure [him]?" 27 And he (the dying person) will conclude that it was (the time) of departing (death); 28 And one shin will curl up with the other shin. 29 On that day, the herding will be only towards your Lord. 30

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
