50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
I swear by the emissary winds, sent one after another (for men's benefit), 1 And those that strike violently, 2 And scatter (things) far and wide; 3 And the scattering winds scattering. 4 and those hurling a reminder 5 [promising] freedom from blame or [offering] a warning! 6 surely that which you are promised is about to fall! 7 So when the stars are extinguished, 8 When the heaven is cleft asunder; 9 And when the mountains are made into dust and blown away. 10 And when the apostles are gathered at their appointed time 11 For what day has the term [of all this] been set? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what will make you comprehend what the day of decision is? 14 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 15 Destroyed We not the former folk, 16 Then caused the latter folk to follow after? 17 That is what We shall do to those who are guilty of crime. 18 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 that We laid within a sure lodging 21 for an appointed term? 22 We determined, how excellent a Determiner are We! 23 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 24 Have We not made the earth a container 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 and did We not firmly fix towering mountains on it and give you sweet water to drink? 27 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 28 GO ON towards that [resurrection] which you were wont to call a lie! 29 Proceed to that shadow, rising in three columns 30 Neither having the coolness of the shade nor availing against the flame. 31 The fire will shoot out sparks as big as huge towers 32 which seem as though they are yellow-coloured camels. 33 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 34 that Day on which they will not [be able to] utter a word, 35 nor shall they be permitted to offer excuses. 36 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 37 That will be a Day of Decision! We have brought you and the men of old together! 38 If now ye have any wit, outwit Me. 39 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
