Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By those [winds] sent forth in gusts 1 Which then blow violently in tempestuous Gusts, 2 And those that revive by quickening, 3 separating one from another, 4 and then giving forth a reminder, 5 excusing or warning, 6 Assuredly, what ye are promised must come to pass. 7 Then when the stars lose their lights; 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 When the mountains are scattered (to the winds) as dust; 10 And when the Messengers are gathered to their time appointed; 11 For what Day was it postponed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what will convey unto thee what the Day of Decision is! - 14 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 15 Did We not destroy the ancients? 16 So shall We make later (generations) follow them. 17 Thus deal We ever with the guilty. 18 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 19 Did We not create you from an abject fluid? 20 And We placed it in a firm lodging 21 For a certain appointed time, 22 So We did measure, and We are the Best to measure (the things). 23 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 24 Have We not caused the earth to hold within itself 25 for the living and the dead? 26 And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet water. 27 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 28 (It will be said:) "Depart ye to that which ye used to reject as false! 29 Proceed to a shadow rising in three columns: 30 wherein there is neither shade, nor freeing from the blazing flames 31 "Indeed it throws about sparks (huge) as Forts, 32 sparks like to golden herds. 33 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 34 On that day they will not be able to speak, 35 Nor will they be given permission to present excuses. 36 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 37 that Day of Distinction [between the true and the false, when they will be told]: "We have brought you together with those [sinners] of olden times; 38 If now you have any strategy, use it against Me. 39 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 40

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
