Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the winds sent forth with beneficence. 1 by (the angels) as swift as blowing winds, 2 by (the angels) spreading (the words of God) far and wide, 3 then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separating 4 Then spread abroad a Message, 5 excusing or warning, 6 Surely that which ye are promised will befall. 7 Then the stars will lose their light. 8 and when the sky is rent asunder 9 and the mountains are blown away, 10 And when the Messengers are gathered to their time appointed; 11 For what day is that time fixed? 12 For the Day of Judgement. 13 How will you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 14 On that day, woe will be to those who have rejected God's revelations! 15 Did We not destroy the earlier people? 16 Thereafter We shall cause to follow them the latter ones. 17 So We serve the sinners. 18 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 that We laid within a sure lodging 21 For a certain appointed time, 22 Thus We have determined the stages of development and Our power to determine is excellent indeed. 23 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle. 25 for the living and for the dead? 26 Set We not therein soaring mountains? Sated you with sweetest water? 27 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 28 “Move towards what you used to deny!” 29 proceed towards the three-pronged shadow, 30 Neither having the coolness of the shade nor availing against the flame. 31 and throwing up sparks as huge as towers 32 (Or) as it might be camels of bright yellow hue. 33 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 34 That will be the Day on which they will not (be able to) utter a word, 35 nor will they be allowed to proffer excuses. 36 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 37 That will be a Day of Sorting out! We shall gather you together and those before (you)! 38 If now ye have any wit, outwit Me. 39 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 40
