Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the loosed ones successively 1 And those raging swiftly; 2 By the spreading winds spreading. 3 and the severally severing 4 Then I swear by the angels who bring down the revelation, 5 By way of excuse or warning. 6 Surely that which ye are promised will befall. 7 So when the stars are obliterated 8 Heavens will rent asunder. 9 and the mountains scattered, 10 And when the apostles are gathered at their appointed time 11 For what Day are these (portents) deferred? 12 The Day of Judgement. 13 And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement? 14 Woe on that day unto the beliers 15 Did We not destroy the earlier people? 16 And We shall let them be followed by those of later times: 17 Thus do We deal with men of sin. 18 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 19 Did We not create you out of a humble fluid 20 The which We placed in a place of rest, firmly fixed, 21 for an appointed term? 22 Thus did We Plan and how excellent is Our planning! 23 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 24 Have We not caused the earth to hold within itself 25 For the living and the dead. 26 and have We not set on it proud, firm mountains, and given you sweet water to drink? 27 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 28 “Move towards what you used to deny!” 29 proceed towards the three-pronged shadow, 30 unshading against the blazing flame 31 Surely it sends up sparks like palaces, 32 which seem as though they are yellow-coloured camels. 33 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 34 that Day on which they will not [be able to] utter a word, 35 And they will not be permitted to put forth any excuse. 36 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 37 That will be a Day of Sorting out! We shall gather you together and those before (you)! 38 So if you have a plan, then plan against Me. 39 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 40
