Believers, fear God as is His due, and when death comes, be in a state of complete submission to Him. 102 All of you united hold fast to the rope of God (the Quran and His Messenger), and recall how He favored you when your hostility to each other had torn you apart. He united your hearts in one faith and through His Grace you became brothers. You were on the verge of falling headlong into the abyss of fire, but God saved you. This is how God explains to you His revelations so that you may have the right guidance. 103 and that there might grow out of you a community [of people] who invite unto all that is good, and enjoin the doing of what is right and forbid the doing of what is wrong: and it is they, they who shall attain to a happy state! 104 So be not like those who became disunited and differed among themselves after clear proofs had come to them. For them is great suffering. 105 the day when some faces are blackened, and some faces whitened. As for those whose faces are blackened -- 'Did you disbelieve after you had believed? Then taste the chastisement for that you disbelieved!' 106 And for those whose faces will become white, they will be in Allah's Mercy (Paradise), therein they shall dwell forever. 107 These are God's revelations; We recite them to you in all truth. God desires no injustice to mankind. 108 For to God belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth, and to God do all things return. 109
