Are you more difficult to create or the heavens? He built it, 27 High has He reared its vault and formed it in accordance with what it was meant to be; 28 And He made dark its night and brought out its light. 29 And after that He spread the earth. 30 He brought forth from it its water and its pasturage. 31 and firmly fixed in it mountains; 32 A provision for you and for your cattle. 33 But when there comes the greatest catastrophe (i.e. the Day of Recompense, etc.), 34 on the Day when man will recall all his strivings, 35 And Hell-Fire shall be placed in full view for (all) to see,- 36 Then, as for him who rebelled 37 And had preferred the life of this world, 38 Verily the Scorch! that shall be his resort. 39 But as for him who feared the Station of his Lord and forbade the soul its caprice, 40 indeed, their refuge shall be Paradise. 41 They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the Hour: when is its arrival? 42 Why (ask they)? What hast thou to tell thereof? 43 Unto thy Lord is the Knowledge of the limit fixed therefor. 44 Thou art only the warner of him who fears it. 45 The Day they see it, (it will be) as if they had not tarried (in this world) except an afternoon or a morning. 46
