The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
When the sun (with its spacious light) is folded up; 1 And when the stars fall down. 2 when the mountains shall be set moving, 3 And when the camels big with young are abandoned, 4 and when all beasts are gathered together, 5 When the oceans boil over with a swell; 6 when the souls are divided into different classes, 7 And the little girl buried alive is asked 8 For what sin she was killed 9 And when the books are spread, 10 And when the heaven has its covering removed, 11 And when Hell-fire shall be kindled to fierce ablaze. 12 and when paradise is brought into view: 13 (Then) shall each soul know what it has put forward. 14 So verily I call to witness the planets - that recede, 15 Go straight, or hide; 16 And the Night as it dissipates; 17 And by the morning when it shineth forth, 18 Truly, this is the word brought by a noble messenger, 19 with strength endowed, secure with Him who in almightiness is enthroned 20 obeyed, and honest. 21 And your companion is not insane. 22 he truly saw him on the clear horizon; 23 And he is of the unseen not a tenacious concealer. 24 nor is it a word of an accursed Satan. 25 Whither then go ye? 26 Verily, this (the Quran) is no less than a Reminder to (all) the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns). 27 For him among you who pleases to go straight. 28 but will you shall not, unless God wills, the Lord of all Being. 29
Almighty Allah's Truth.
