The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
When the sun is overthrown, 1 And when the stars fall down. 2 and the mountains have been taken, 3 when the pregnant camels are neglected, 4 And when wild animals are herded together. 5 when the seas shall be set boiling, 6 when the souls shall be coupled, 7 when the buried infant shall be asked 8 For what sin she was slain. 9 and when the scrolls of (men's) deeds shall be unfolded, 10 And when the heaven is torn away. 11 And when Hell-fire shall be kindled to fierce ablaze. 12 when Paradise is brought close: 13 (Then) shall each soul know what it has put forward. 14 So verily I call to witness the planets - that recede, 15 that hide, 16 And the night when it departs, 17 And the breath of morning 18 it is indeed the word of an Honorable Messenger, 19 of power, given a rank by the Owner of the Throne 20 (One) to be obeyed, and trustworthy; 21 Your companion is not one possessed: 22 He certainly saw him (Gabriel) high up on the horizon in his original form 23 And he is not avid of the Unseen. 24 Nor is this the word of a stoned satan. 25 Where then are you going? 26 Verily, this (the Quran) is no less than a Reminder to (all) the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns). 27 for whosoever of you who would go straight; 28 And you will not, unless (it be) that Allah wills, the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 29

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
