And the dwellers of the Rock certainly rejected the apostles; 80 And We gave them Our signs, but from them they were turning away. 81 They used to hew out houses from the mountains and lived in security. 82 and so the blast [of Our punishment] overtook them at early morn, 83 Then availed them not that which they had been earning. 84 And We created not the heavens and the earth and all that is between them except with truth, and the Hour is surely coming, so overlook (O Muhammad SAW), their faults with gracious forgiveness. [This was before the ordainment of Jihad holy fighting in Allah's Cause]. 85 Surely your Lord is the All Knowing Creator! 86 And certainly We have given you seven of the oft-repeated (verses) and the grand Quran. 87 Do not yearn for other people's property and wives and do not grieve (that they do not believe). Be kind to the believers. 88 And say: "I am a distinct warner," 89 Such as We send down for those who make division, 90 Those who have made the scripture bits. 91 Therefore, by the Lord, We will, of a surety, call them to account, 92 For all their deeds. 93 Promulgate thou that which thou art commanded, and turn away from the associaters. 94 We suffice you against those who mock, 95 and those who set up other gods with Allah, indeed, they will soon know. 96 And surely We know that your breast straitens at what they say; 97 Exalt with the praise of your Lord and be one of those who prostrate. 98 And worship your Lord until there comes to you the certainty (death). 99
