The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the sun (with its spacious light) is folded up; 1 when the stars shall be thrown down, 2 the mountains are scattered about as dust, 3 And when full-term she-camels are neglected 4 And when wild animals are herded together. 5 and when the seas are set on fire, 6 When souls are reunited (with the bodies) 7 and when the girl-child buried alive shall be asked: 8 For what sin she was killed? 9 And when the Records of Account are laid bare. 10 The curtain drawn back from the skies, 11 when Hell is set ablaze, 12 And Paradise brought near, 13 then, each soul shall know what it has produced. 14 I swear by the receding stars. 15 the runners, the sinkers, 16 by the night swarming, 17 And by the dawn when it breathes 18 Most surely it is the Word of an honored messenger, 19 The mighty, the honoured in the presence of the Lord of the Throne. 20 obeyed, moreover trusty. 21 And your companion is not [at all] mad. 22 Assuredly he beheld him in the horizon manifest. 23 nor does he grudge (conveying this knowledge about) the Unseen; 24 The Quran is not the word of condemned satan. 25 When whither go ye? 26 This is merely a reminder to all mankind; 27 for everyone of you who wishes to follow the Straight Way; 28 And you do not please except that Allah please, the Lord of the worlds. 29
God the Almighty always says the truth.
