Al-Infitaar
Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the sky is split, 1 And when the stars fall, scattering, 2 And when the seas are erupted 3 and when the graves are overturned 4 every human being will [at last] comprehend, what he has sent ahead and what he has held back [in this world]. 5 O man! What has made you careless concerning your Lord, the Most Generous? 6 The One Who created you, then moulded you, then made you proper? 7 In whatever form He willed has He assembled you. 8 By no means! Aye, ye belie the Requital. 9 And indeed, [appointed] over you are keepers, 10 noble, recording, 11 They know (and understand) all that ye do. 12 Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure, 13 And the Wicked - they will be in the Fire, 14 They shall enter it on the day of judgment. 15 And will not be removed from it. 16 And what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 How then can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 18 The day on which no soul will have the authority over any other soul; and on that day, the entire command belongs to Allah. 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
