Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ When the sky is split, 1 And the stars dispersed, 2 the oceans are merged together, 3 And when the Graves are turned upside down;- 4 (Then) a person will know what he has sent forward and (what he has) left behind (of good or bad deeds). 5 O man, what seduced you from your munificent Lord 6 Who created you, then made you complete, then made you symmetrical? 7 having put thee together in whatever form He willed [thee to have]? 8 Nay! But you deny the Recompense (reward for good deeds and punishment for evil deeds). 9 And indeed there are some guardians over you. 10 noble scribes, 11 Knowing all what you may do. 12 The pious will surely be in heaven, 13 And indeed the sinners are in hell. 14 Roasted they shall be therein on the Day of Requital. 15 and which they shall not [be able to] evade. 16 How can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 17 Again, what will make you realize what the day of judgment is? 18 It is a Day whereon no soul shall own aught of power for any soul; and the command on that Day will be Allah's. 19
