The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the heaven, holding mansions of the stars, 1 and by the promised Day, 2 And by the Day witnessing and the Day witnessed, 3 The companions of the pit were killed 4 Fire supplied (abundantly) with fuel: 5 while they sat around it, 6 fully conscious of what they are doing to the believers, 7 whom they hated for no other reason than that they believed in God, the Almighty, the Praiseworthy, 8 Him to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! And Allah is Witness to all things. 9 Indeed, those who have tortured the believing men and believing women and then have not repented will have the punishment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the Burning Fire. 10 But those who believe and do good deeds shall be rewarded with gardens watered by flowing rivers. That is the supreme triumph. 11 The grip of your Lord is indeed severe, 12 Surely it is He who originates, and brings again, 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Affectionate, 14 Owner of the throne, the Glorious 15 The great doer of what He will. 16 Hath there come unto thee the story of the hosts 17 (The armies of) Firaun and the tribe of Thamud. 18 In fact the disbelievers are in denial. 19 and God is behind them, encompassing. 20 What is revealed to you is certainly a glorious Quran 21 [Inscribed] in a Preserved Slate. 22
