The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the sky containing great stars 1 And by the Day promised, 2 And by the Day witnessing and the Day witnessed, 3 THEY DESTROY [but] themselves, they who would ready a pit 4 [Containing] the fire full of fuel, 5 Lo! [With glee do] they contemplate that [fire,] 6 fully conscious of what they are doing to the believers, 7 And they did not take vengeance on them for aught except that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Praised, 8 to whom belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and earth. And Allah is the Witness of all things. 9 Indeed those who troubled the Muslim men and Muslim women, and then did not repent – for them is the punishment of hell, and for them is the punishment of fire. 10 Verily those who believed and worked righteous works, theirs shall be Gardens whereunder the rivers flow; that is the supreme achievement. 11 Surely thy Lord's assault is terrible. 12 Surely it is He who originates, and brings again, 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Affectionate, 14 Lord of the Throne of Glory, 15 Always doing whatever He wills. 16 Has it come to you the story of the hosts 17 Of Pharaoh and Thamud come to you? 18 Nay, but the unbelievers still cry lies, 19 And Allah, all unseen, surroundeth them. 20 Nay, but this [divine writ which they reject] is a discourse sublime, 21 (Inscribed) in Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz (The Preserved Tablet)! 22

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
