The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
I swear by the heaven and the comer by night; 1 And what will make you to know what At-Tariq (night-comer) is? 2 (It is a nightly radiant star). 3 Over every soul there is a watcher. 4 Let man reflect on what he was created from. 5 He is created of water pouring forth, 6 which comes out of the loins and ribs. 7 Indeed, Allah, to return him [to life], is Able. 8 The day all secrets are examined 9 (Man) will have no power, and no helper. 10 By oath of the sky from which comes down the rain. 11 and by the earth ever bursting with verdure, 12 Indeed the Qur’an is a decisive Word. 13 It is not a thing for amusement. 14 They (disbelievers) plot every evil plan, 15 and I am cunningly devising. 16 So respite thou the infidels - respite them gently, 17
God the Almighty always says the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
