The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 The one who will enter the biggest fire. 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
