The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 And Who has measured (preordainments for each and everything even to be blessed or wretched); then guided (i.e. showed mankind the right as well as wrong paths, and guided the animals to pasture); 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 He who fears will mind, 10 And the wretched shunneth it. 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
