The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ EXTOL the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's name: [the glory of] the Al-Highest, 1 who created and shaped, 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We will make you recite so you shall not forget, 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
God the Almighty always says the truth.
