The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
