The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
