Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
26 verses, revealed in Mecca after Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat) before The Cave (Al-Kahf)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Has there reached you the report of the Overwhelming [event]? 1 Many a face will be disgraced on that day. 2 Laboring, toiling, 3 Scorched by burning fire, 4 their drink shall be from a boiling spring. 5 they shall have no food but thorns, 6 Neither nourishing nor banishing hunger. 7 Some faces on that Day will be radiant, 8 Pleased with their striving,- 9 In a high Garden. 10 Where they shall neither hear harmful speech nor falsehood, 11 In it is a flowing spring. 12 and raised couches, 13 And cups set at hand. 14 And cushions set in rows, 15 And rich carpets (all) spread out. 16 DO, THEN, they [who deny resurrection] never gaze at the clouds pregnant with water, [and observe] how they are created? 17 And at the heaven, how it is raised? 18 And the mountains, how they are firmly fixed, 19 and on the earth, how it is spread out? 20 Therefore do thou give admonition, for thou art one to admonish. 21 Thou art not over them a warden. 22 However, those who turn away and disbelieve, 23 Allah will punish him with a mighty Punishment, 24 Verily, to Us will be their return; 25 Then verily on Us is their reckoning. 26
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
